Financial Protectors

A Financial Shield in the U.S. health insurance context refers to measures or products designed to minimize the financial impact of unexpected medical expenses and high health care costs. Additional policies that cover costs that the primary health insurance does not fully cover, such as deductibles, co-payments and out-of-pocket maximums.

With a Financial Protector, if you are hospitalized, have an accident, develop a critical or chronic illness, you could be reimbursed. That is, instead of you paying for medical services, you would be paid. In other words, you would receive a check based on the amount agreed upon.

Types of Policies

  • Accident Indemnity.
